Hi there,

I was wondering if it were possible to set a default time for a Date field that displays both date and time inputs? Many of the other field types have the option of setting defaults.

Thanks!

Saul

Hi, if you're talking about a default value for a custom field in wp-admin then no it's not currently possible. In Forms, you can set the default value using a Unix timestamp like 1569528869 in the "value" attribute, or in a URL parameter. You can learn more about Unix timestamps and generate your own value here: https://www.epochconverter.com

If you'd like to see the ability to add a default date/time in wp-admin, I encourage you to submit your idea here in our forum: https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/

Thanks, Christian! I ended up changing the field type to a single line input, which supports a default value.
