I have a question: I have a website with many cpt records plotted on a map. On the page, the basic info for these records is diplayed inside info bubble on a user mouseclick. The bubbles divs are, by default, set with css property 'display:none'. Can googlebot see and follow these links? Thank you

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

Although this question is related to SEO best practices in general and not Toolset plugins specifically, we do our best to guide in the right direction whenever possible.

As explained in these threads, Google's indexing is not dependant on whether the content is set with 'display: none' or 'display: block', which means that Google's bot can still see and follow those hidden links:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12482624/google-crawl-displaynone-displayblock
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10966575/seo-and-div-displaynone

To get more specialized and up-to-date consultation related to SEO, you can participate in community SEO forums.

I hope this helps.

regards,
