Our website has over 40'000 pages indexed in Google and has good rankings with posts and pages.
But always the custom post type/pages created with Toolset are often not ranked good or not even indexed.
This is really bad.
What's wrong here and how to fix it.
Have you checked your SEO plugin settings to make sure that the custom post types are included in the sitemaps generated by the plugin?
Have you visited and examined the sitemaps to ensure that the content you expect to be indexed is included in the sitemaps?
The post types created by Toolset are just standard WordPress post types (Toolset provides a user-friendly UI to register the post types, but under the hood uses the standard WordPress function register_post_type to do so), so if you are having SEO-related issues particular these custom post types, you should likely review the documentation and advice of the SEO plugin for the best ways to ensure they are included in sitemaps and feature in search engine results.
Thanks a lot for your quick answer and your ideas.
I am working with All In One Pro-Version and the custom post types like Ski or Hotel are included in own sitemaps.
Everything that can be made is made, but the results are not good.
Several products are not even indexed on Google.
I will also contact All in One to get an advice there.
Maybe I'll get back to you with some informations.
How do you get the Google SEO rank score?
Please try to use Google official Tools to check those custom post type URLs, check if there is anything wrong in the report. hidden link
