Good Morning,

How can I create a select field that can list the titles of other posts? To clarify, let me say I have a post called "Items" and then a 2nd post called "Items Packages". I want to create a field on "Items Packages" with the type SELECT, but the list items for the fields are dynamic and comes from the 1st post title.

Please advise.

Regards,

Aziz

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Where do you want to have that field? on Toolset form or when you add/edit post in backend admin?

Hi

Mostly, I would need it for the user when creating a fron end form. It will also make my life easier if I can have it on admin dashboard but I can live without it for the time being.

Regards,

Aziz

I have your another ticket where you set the post type "hierarchical".

Please note that the having post relationship and setting post type "hierarchical" is totally different things.

I suggest first of all you should test and finalize your requirements first.

Toolset offers free test platform http://www.discover-wp.com where we offer ready made sites build on top using Toolset.

Here are the reference sites we offer:

You can install any reference site and check how those build that will give you further idea. In addition to that we offer step by step courses that you should follow as well:

You can even install any of the reference site we offer on http://www.discover-wp.com on your local machine using the framework installer plugin:

I suggest you should first play with any of reference site and check what is the best optimum solution for you and then decide with what structure you would like to go ahead.
