I am trying to: I have a working search filter on this archive page: hidden link On the right of it is a insert post form CRED. It works fine until I use the searchfilter. After that the contactform (CRED) on the right gives two errors on the custom fields.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see no conflicts between the two seperate forms.

Instead, I got: one CRED on the right giving errors because of the search filter on the left.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for waiting.

During testing on my own website, with a similar post form and the archive view, I couldn't reproduce this issue.

This suggests that this is something specific to your website. On your website, whenever a parameter "?wpv_post_search" is passed in the URL the issue with the form can be seen on your website:

Example:
hidden link

This not only affects the Toolset post form but also interferes with the layout of other pages. For example, if you'll try to visit your page hidden link directly, it will show the content correctly.

But if you'll visit the same page with that URL parameter, it will not show the page's regular content: hidden link

To troubleshoot this further, I'll suggest the following steps:

1. Please make sure all plugins on the website are updated to the latest versions.

2. Temporarily deactivate all extra plugins (other than Toolset) and also test this with a default theme like Twenty Nineteen.

If the issue is fixed, you can start activating the theme and the plugins, one-by-one, to narrow this down to a possible conflict.

3. In case the issue still persists, I'll need a clone/snapshot of your website so that I can troubleshoot this on my own server.

Please let me know how it goes and I've set your next reply as private.
