Hello,

I have created a Views in which I'm using a custom field in the filtering section. This part works well.
Now, I want to use the same custom field in the sorting section but it seems this custom field is no more available if it is already used in the filtering section.
Is it normal and is there a way to manage both filtering and sorting with the same custom field inside a Views?

Regards
Pat

Hi Pat,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I'm assuming here that you're referring to the frontend sorting correct?

If so then you should be able to have a filter for the date field as well as a frontend sorting option for that same field.

Can you provide me with admin access to the site with the issue as well as a link to the page and the custom field that you're trying to create the frontend filter for ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Don't know what happened but I just tried again and now, I can use the same custom field for both actions !!!
Sorry for having escalated this non-issue !
