I'm trying to allow users to add ratings and reviews.
Other than manually entering a value on the admin side I want registered users to be able to submit comment reviews and star ratings and have the ratings average out and display on the product post.

Is there a tutorial that shows this?

I'm also having a problem with finding the expiration date settings. Following this tutorial https://toolset.com/lesson-placement/lesson-placements-1621521-1612093/
but the settings are not there. Did they get moved to another place?

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

IMHO, for the reviews feature, you should use a specialized 3rd plugin for it. Check this article for some popular plugins hidden link

WooCommerce for example stores the reviews as comments, and calculate the averages and stores them as custom fields. If your chosen plugin stores the averages as custom fields, you can display them using Toolset. You can also use them in Toolset views and archive templates for sorting order. We can discuss that once you need them.

However, a reviews/rating feature can also be implemented using Toolset, but the calculation of averages will require custom code. We can suggest how to achieve that but we cannot offer custom code solutions. Custom code is beyond the scope of the Toolset support.

Regarding your last question, I am not sure to understand. Are you talking about the setting on this screenshot hidden link ?
If yes, enable the metabox in the screen options for the post. Check this screenshot hidden link
If it is not the case, please elaborate more about your question. Maybe add a screenshot to describe it further.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any questions.
