[Resolved] Reuseable blocks – across multiple CPT

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to create multiple Content Templates using an existing Content Template as the starting point so I don't have to recreate the design over and over.

Solution: Use the Duplicate feature in the Content Templates list to create a clone of an existing template. Hover over the CT title to see the Duplicate link.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
We have a number of different CPT - they will all need to display different custom fields and slight differences in the views we need to create for them, but I followed your video guide to produce a basic template for one of the CPT https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-templates-to-display-custom-posts/

Now I want to save that as a section template and then duplicate for other CPT, before adding/removing custom fields, so I'm not starting from scratch each time.

Can you advise where I can find documentation on this?
Thanks

Hello, is it not possible to use the "Duplicate" feature in the Toolset > Content Templates dashboard to clone the original Content Template, then make your modifications in the clone? Or are you looking for something more flexible? Please explain in more detail.
