This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The issue here is that the user wanted to restrict the media library so that users can only see the files they uploaded.
Solution:
You should be able to achieve this by using the plugin below as our Access plugin isn't able to set the permissions for the user so that they can only see their own media.
