[Resolved] Restrict content to only show for the user that publish it and administrators

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
How to limit posts so that only their author can see them?

Solution:
The solution is effectively the same for hiding all of the content of a post as for hiding part of the content of a post, which is described in the linked documentation.

Relevant Documentation:

Tell us what you are trying to do?

I am trying to create a portal-like solution where users can submit design briefs to me and view any previously submitted briefs. I have figured out how to create a view that only shows content owned by them which works perfectly but I would like to know how to restrict access to the post itself so I keep the information private in case someone else comes across it.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I was using this as a reference https://toolset.com/forums/topic/building-client-portal-to-manage-service-jobs/

Is there a similar example that we can see?

I'm trying to create a page that looks kinda like this hidden link

What is the link to your site?

hidden link but it's not live yet.

Hi Michael

The solution you require is effectively that documented for hiding content within a page or post, applied to the whole content: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/access-control-texts-inside-page-content/

You would add the toolset_access shortcodes to restrict content to your template for the single posts in question and wrap the whole content.
