SCSTG - realign blocks on search & view content content.jpg

Hi Toolset

We would like to reposition various 'blocks' on the Search n View content template as per the screen grab/sketch. So we have a more 'logical' and structured layout.

So, we want the search panel and filters to be in a side bar to the right of the map.

Then below the map row, the search results loop, in a new row, which is full width, so we can fit in another couple of colums and that are neatly positioned under the map.

Q1) Is this Doable?

Q2) if so, any clues on how :-)??

The website URL is hidden link

We have set the Search n View content template as the Home Page so you can easily see this page.

Hi Adrian,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Yes this one is actually doable.

Have a look at the link below.
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-search/#setting-up-the-view-search-and-results-side-by-side

Since the latest wordpress 5.5 update in order to drag the block you will need to click and hold while dragging the up or down arrow.

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly yesterday, and that worked a treat 😃 It took me a minute or two to realise that with WP 5.5 and the latest block editor, the Toolset Blocks 'side' handle for dragging have been moved.

But I now have the content template looking more structured, which is awesome.

Cheers
Ade
