Archive Page Built with Blocks – Insert Views 'frontend' event handler Started by: Adrian Robbins in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: How do we Insert the Frontend event handler, as we need to run some Javascript after each filter is used to effect the Custom search? Solution: Using blocks, you can go to the JavaScript tab in the side bar and add your code: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/adding-custom-javascript-to-views-templates-and-archives/ You can track when the filter is executed using 'js_event_wpv_parametric_search_results_updated', that should replace the need of running the code every X seconds. Please check the explanation of my colleague here for further reference: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/javascript-call-back-function-of-scroll-to-top-map-while-using-ajax-pagination/#post-1437607 And here a skeleton of how you'd use js_event_wpv_parametric_search_results_updated: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/trigger-js-event-after-ajax-filtering-finished/#post-477382 2	2	2 years, 7 months ago -
What is the Toolset AJAX Completion Event for use in JavaScript Started by: Adrian Robbins in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: I'm encountering difficulty in reinitializing JavaScript functions after dynamically loading content via AJAX on a custom archive page built with Toolset. I need to identify the event or trigger in JavaScript that signifies the completion of the AJAX call to correctly reinitialize the functions. Solution: For block views, there isn't a direct method to identify the completion of AJAX calls. However, if you switch to legacy views, you can trigger an event after AJAX filtering is completed. Follow the steps provided to enable legacy views and refer to the documentation for triggering JavaScript events after AJAX filtering: - Enable legacy views via "Toolset > Settings > General." - Utilize the method outlined in the Toolset forum to trigger events after AJAX filtering: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/trigger-js-event-after-ajax-filtering-finished/#post-477382 2	2	2 years, 7 months ago -

Add Full Width inage to 'top' of Archive Page Started by: Adrian Robbins in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: The customer asked how to show a full-width image banner on top of the archive page, using the Divi theme. Solution: Suggested to add container block on top of the WordPress Archive and add an image as the background of this container. Since, the Divi theme doesn't seem to support the WordPress' full-width alignment option, shared some custom CSS code to make it cover full-width too.
