Hi, What is the best way to replace all custom post and taxonomy data - ie. delete all data, and import new data.
I've have the new data in a csv file, which I successfully imported using the CSV Importer plugin to a localhost copy of the site.
Thanks for any help
David

Hello,

I suggest you try these:
1) In your local original website:
Dashboard-> Toolset-> Export/import-> Types, export the setting files
Dashboard-> Tools-> Export, export the post data

2) In the target website:
Same as above, import the Types setting file and post data.

If you don't want any duplicated data, then delete all data in the target website first.

Thanks Luo, Understand I need to manually delete all data before importing new.
Thought there might be an import setting to replace all data - ie delete all, import new.

Thanks
David
