After upgrading the site to WordPress 5.5 we see that the custom repeatable fields in the post display a label "loading..." and they do not load the interface (see screenshot), in addition we have problems in Gutenberg blocks that does not display some tet elenents such paragraphs, list etc.
What could be the problem?

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Maybe the issue is caused by a bug introduced by 5.5. Can you try to update to 5.5.1 and check?

If it does not fix the issue, I would suggest checking compatibility issues, please check if this issue appears when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
- The theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty Fourteen. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at the time to track where the incompatibility is produced.

At the same time, activate PHP debugging and check the browser console for any errors, they may help us find out the origin of this issue.

Hi Jamal,
our wordpress installation is already 5.5.1
We will try to test che compatibility issues.
But if we switch from another theme will the changes and settings placed in the customization panel will be lost?

#1766923

I believe that the customization will be kept in the database and will only be applied when their theme is active. To be on the safe side, please, make a database backup before performing these tests.

I'll also suggest creating a staging site from the live site and test on it.

Hi Jamal, we updated the theme but nothing changes, do you think it could be something concerning some plugins? The site where the problem occurs is part of a multisite installation and this is what is happening:

site 01: Gutenberg blocks are working OK, Toolset repeating fields have the "loading" issue
site 02: Gutenberg blocks have issues and also Toolset repeating fields have the "loading" issue

It is a very strange situation since both sites are placed in the same hosting server.

Do you have any guess of what could be the problem?

Hi Jamal I have an update on this, we found a plugin that was the problem of Gutenberg Blocks, now we still have to deal with the Toolset repeating field that still keep the "loading..." message on the post editor.
Please let us know what could be the problem.

Thanks

We deactivated some other plugins and now all is working. Thanks.
