I am trying to: Display results of a custom search
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
I expected to see: similar output to archive at hidden link
Instead, I got: logo, post title, and phone show correctly; location field group shows 'no results'
Note: I am working on this site as a toolset contractor, it's licensed in the account of Brendan Moran
Hi Chuck,
Can you please confirm that you've followed the steps mentioned in this documentation page:
https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/creating-and-displaying-repeatable-field-groups/#displaying-repeatable-field-groups
Also, please check if the issue exists while only Toolset plugins are active along with a default theme lie twenty-seventeen.
I will be waiting for your reply.
Thanks.
This is Chuck replying from Brendan's account.
This site is registered in Brendan's account:
hidden link
However I'm still getting registration errors from Toolset:
hidden link
Yet toolset shows as registered:
hidden link
I tried unregistering and then reentering the key but it still exhibited this error. Not sure if it's related to the other weirdness, should I try moving the site to my own unlimited lifetime toolset account in order to see if that makes a difference?
Regarding the actual issue for this ticket:
I have deactivated all non-Toolset plugins and changed theme to 2017 per your request.
I also created a new test page with nothing but the search results view, to eliminate most of the Divi shortcodes. Then after saving a copy of the loop code I used the loop wizard to generate a new loop that didn't use a Divi based content template.
The result is displayed here:
hidden link
You can see that the problem still exists, the nested view is still producing no results.
Update. After replying I thought perhaps I should look closer at the nested view; I'd been focused on the main view instead, since the same nested view worked in other places.
I tried some different filter options and discovered the right one. I'd been depending on the 'post there this group is shown' instead of the 'current post in the group' and for some reason that worked on archive pages as well as the single post display but did not work as a nested view.
I'm going to close this ticket and create a different one for the licensing weirdness.
Followup: I logged back into my own account so I could close the ticket. Thanks.
