Tell us what you are trying to do?
In google search, my custom post 'breeds' are showing as dated

This is evergreen content and is more of a page than a post... How can I set this up like that? I think it may be affecting my google rankings.

As you can see Cavalier King Charles spaniel puppies us dated 2018. This is actually an information piece which is updated regularly, and should not be linked to a date

Hello, the text content shown in these Google search results usually depends in part on your site's theme and other 3rd-party plugins. For example, Yoast SEO is a plugin that allows you to manage this information, as well as managing Facebook OG tags. Those FB tags allow you to customize the design of a post shared on the timeline in Facebook, as explained here: https://yoast.com/help/getting-open-graph-for-your-articles/

Can you share your site's debug information so I can take a look at some of your configurations? You can follow the instructions here: https://toolset.com/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

I'll review all the information and give you some feedback.

Great. Yeh, some post types I definitely want dates (blogs etc), but others (like the standard wordpress 'pages' which is still a post type) shouldnt have dates.

And the 'breed' post type is more like a page than a dated post

Okay, yes I can see Yoast is active on your site so I recommend reaching out to their support team for more information about customizing your Google results for each post. Toolset doesn't really manage this information in any meaningful way, so there's not much I can offer for customizing the Google result text. As far as your theme, it seems to be a custom theme and I don't have any information to share about how SEO is managed there.
