I think I did not state my problem clearly. When I run query, I can get the Relevanssi excerpts to show with highlighted search terms. However, when I click the link from the excerpts, the highlighted terms to do not transfer and show in the full post. This Relevanssi function works if I just use the normal WordPress search bar.

Hi, I don't have a simple solution that will show the highlighted search term in the post content after you click a search result. As far as I know, that's not something that is normally achieved with Relevanssi - but based on your comments it sounds like it works this way in your site when Toolset is deactivated. If so, perhaps there is some a implementation I am not aware of, or a feature I'm not familiar with. In that case, I would need to see it in action to be able to tell whether or not this is something we can apply in the Toolset templates and search results as well, or if there is more custom code required. Please provide login credentials in the private reply fields here, and I will test out the main site search bar to see how the search terms are highlighted in the search results and the main post content. Then I'll let you know what we can achieve with Toolset based on those findings.
