Tell us what you are trying to do?
Birds are connected to Observations One-to-Many

Created a relationship as per description but when following the guide about creating a new View in Content template, the GUI does not present the selection under "Choose content this View will display " with a selection of X that are related to current Y" .
And since that choice is not given, the following dialogue about "Field Source" just picks upp ALL Observations with no Relationship.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?
See Course lesson link above. I only miss that subsequent radio button to select the relationship. Including images

What is the link to your site?

Hi there,

Make sure that the Content Template is what you use to display the Birds. That is important that you have a content template that is assigned to show the Birds.

After that, you will be able to see the sub-item by adding a view, if you do not use the view inside a content template that show birds it will not have a section to show the related items.

Thanks.

FireShot Capture 2163 - Edit Content Template “Bird” ‹ Vitryggig Hackspett — WordPress_ - test.vitrygg.org.png
FireShot Capture 2162 - Toolset Dashboard ‹ Content Template — WordPress - test.vitrygg.org.png

The Content Template was/is set and where this is setup. Is the first picture above in the first post that says "Content template" top right, for BIRD. That is exactly where this does not happening. Despite following the tutorials. I can't see what can be done differently. Including a picture just to emphasize that there is and always have been inside "Content Template"

Or...Are you saying / meaning that the Tutorial linked above is wrong?
...and to NOT use VIEW for 'Observation', as per the tutorial linked above... and instead use the 'block' called Content Template for 'Observations...INSIDE the Content Template of Bird?
So confusing.

.....................................
Including a pic of the "Content template" where we create a NEW VIEW as per Tutorial and selecting 'Observation' there is NO sub radio button stating... what I would expect to be "Speakers that are related to the current Event" ..or in this case "Observations that are related to the current Bird"

Proceeding after that just leads up to a View thar renders ALL Observation - no regard for Relationship...since that connection is never made.

Hello,

In your screenshot :

You can try these:
In the left panel, find and select view block, in the right view block setting panel, section "Content Selection", add the post type relationship filter, see my screenshot
