hi,
I have two custom posts: products and designers. I would like to have the opportunity to select designers for each product. I tried to use the field checkboxs but I don't understand if it is possible to connect the values to those of the post type, or I have to convert the custom post designer to the taxonomies. thank you

It sounds like you need to create a relationship between Product and Designer post types.

Products can be designed by more than one Designer? And Designers can design more than one Product?

That would make it a many-to-many relationship.

Please have a look at the documentation for relationships here, and then let me know if you have any specific questions: https://toolset.com/documentation/post-relationships/

One point you will need to be clear about is whether the connections are handled in the backend or only in the frontend.

yes I had created the relationships between products and designers and I read the documentation you shared with me but I don't really like how the insertion of the relationship is managed and therefore I preferred to change my management of the custom "designer" posts in product taxonomy

Sorry, I don't really understand what your question is, then.

Could you please explain with more details or examples?

it was not a question. I just wanted to say how I solved the problem. (using taxonomies)
