I added a few test posts to the test site, but I don't think this is applicable. Maybe you don't fully understand what I'm trying to do or I didn't explain well. I need to get the 3 closest places to the current cpt in the loop. The test site doesn't do this. If you look at the bottom of this post you can see what I mean where it says "Other Bars Closest to EVA Hut"
This doesn't really make sense. In the referenced thread the support specialist says " Ordering by distance from a variable location didn't make it into the most recent plugin release, but we are working on it for an upcoming release. Right now appears it will most likely be included in Toolset Maps 1.6" and that was in 2018.
Are you telling me 4 years later a feature being worked on still hasn't been implemented?
Also if I can output the distance to each place from a place cpt with the shortcode from that thread, which I am doing now, I should be able to order by that number right? Maybe even just using javascript?
And sorry, but if a feature that was being worked on 4 years ago is still not been implemented I'm not going to waste my time creating a feature request. To be honest I've probably made 10 and none have been implemented.... which is worrisome to say the least.
Waiting 2-3 days between responses makes me feel less than a special snowflake. So it looks like I'm not going to get much help with this so I'm trying things on my own, and I'm pretty close. As you can see in the link below, in the "Other Bars Closest to Đông Vui" section if you enter the address of this place "246 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận" it does an instant update and shows the 3 closest bars.

Which is exactly what I want, but I want that to happen on page load. So with that address basically pre-populated. Can you at least assist with this? It would be super appreciated.
Luo, can you please pass this thread over to another support specialist with more availability? can't deal with the ridiculously slow pace of this. Usually toolset support is spot on, this time not so.
Since you are asking for a not-existed feature, it will needs custom codes, I need to check it with our developers, will update here if there is anything news.
The issue you didn't take the time to understand the issue from the get-go, you kept on referring me to the test site that was not addressing the issue. And you're no following up at all until I do after several days.
This is terrible support at this point. Unusual for Toolset so I am asking for another specialist PLEASE to step in. Sorry, after a few weeks I've lost patience with you.
No, you won't. I will re-open this ticket and request YOU not be the support specialist. Sorry, you took no time or effort to assist after 4 weeks. And ordering based on distance is certainly not a complicated issue.
Hi Timothy - Luo is on vacation and this is Minesh here and I'll take care of this ticket. Hope this is OK.
I just understand that you want to sort the post by distance but can you please clarify what posts you want to sort by distance and your expected result and share admin access details so I can review your current structure and guide you in the right direction.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
