I would like to show posts from the Testimonials CPT based on the Service Type chosen from a 'select' field.

I add a query filter to the view, however no posts show?

I have tried using numerical values as the custom field content for the select field and text values.

Hi Graham,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

I did the following and couldnt replicate the problem.
- create post type
- create field select with few options
- create posts and save some options
- create view + query filter for this field

The query worked fine for me with the option selected. It could be a plugin conflict . What I recommend that you do is to temporarily disable all your non-toolset plugins and try again.

Once you have done this please me know if the issue still remains.

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks Shane. Can you please advise if my settings for the query filter (see screenshots) are correct?

Hi Graham,

Yes from what I see your settings are correct.

Would you mind providing me with admin access to the website so that I can have a more detailed look.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Graham,

Thank you for the credentials.

Since you are using numbers in the field then you should set the query to a number instead of a string.

See view hidden link

It should now be working on the frontend.

Thanks,
Shane

Such a simple solution...

I originally tried using a string = medifacial when I was not using numbers in the value field of the select but this did not work. I am happy to use numbers in the field though as this is working.

Thanks for your help Shane.
