Using WP Portfolio filter.png
More ideal filter function.png

I have set up hidden link to display and link to demo sites hidden link, but the filter function is a bit limited (attachment showing horizontally arranged buttons). It would work better if the filter was more like the other image.

Can toolset link in to the custom post type created by WP Portfolio so I could use Toolsets search/filter function on the front end?

Thanks.

Hello,

I assume we are talking about those buttons "All, Blog ..." in your screenshot:

If they are from custom taxonomy or custom field, it should be possible by Toolset plugins + some custom CSS codes, you can display that filter as checkboxes field, and style it as buttons, for example:
hidden link

For your reference.
