Trying to upgrade our site's PHP from 7.0 to 8.0

Is there any documentation that you are following?
None that would be out of the ordinary for upgrading PHP

Before updating your server to PHP version 8 please ensure that you've updated your toolset plugins to their latest versions in order to maintain compatibility with php 8
