Hi Zenari,

I did a third test of the issue as per your instructions and even uploading the image to the repeatable fields and the issue still doesn't occur.
hidden link

You can have a look at the image URL filenames and you can see that they don't get appended with scaled. Perhaps it is the image file that I am using? Can you run a test with a new image file from your end so that I can see if it occurs with you.

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks so much for the support.

Now I was able to recreate the error by uploading these images and there is no gallery in my post.
The problem only arises for images that are too heavy.

I tried to upload this image I found on the internet: "hidden link".
The original photo, having dimensions of 3775x2519 pixels and weighing 2.3 MB, is certainly a heavy image.

I downloaded the photo in .JPG and put a word "Gallery" above the photo for the image that will go into the gallery and in the other photo I wrote "First image" (see attachment "Screen 1").

This is the link of my post: "hidden link".

In the back office of the post you can see that the gallery image has the following link: "hidden link".
(See attachment "Screen 2").

In the WordPress media library, that same image has the following link with "-scaled.jpg" at the bottom and I don't understand why: "hidden link".
(See attachment "Screen 3").

Since the image in the back office has a link and instead there is a different link in the media library, the gallery does not load the correct image.

The problem is that the original image that is present in the attachment "Screen 2" I don't see it in the gallery and, since the form is from Toolset, I don't think it's Elementor's problem if the image is scaled or not.

Could it then be some Toolset or WordPress setting?

Hi Zenari,

I've identified the issue. Its not an issue with Toolset but an issue with wordpress itself. The wordpress media library is adding the scale suffix to the image.

The issue occurs when you're adding the large resolution images to the media library directly. I've found an article where a user was able to resolve the issue using the smushit plugin.
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/353845/how-to-disable-the-suffix-scaled-which-is-being-added-at-the-end-of-each-uplo

As such you can try this and let me know if it helps.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi,
I have the same problem with the photos but now I have the problem with the "-rotated.jpg" link.

Is like the problem with the link "-scaled.jpg": WordPress scaled the image and Toolset didn't find this.
Now the Toolset didn't find the rotated photos because WordPress change the link.

How can I fix this?

Thanks for the support
