I have a problem with my Toolset form to add a post.
I created the "Gallery" field made with the "image" custom field and the possibility to insert multiple instances on the field.

The problem is that if a user adds an image that is too large in pixels, I see the image in the post on the backoffice side (attachment "backoffice") but I don't see the image in the front office of the post on the site (attachment "frontoffice" ).

The correct display should be the one you see in the "post-ok" attachment

Does Toolset have a problem with large images?

Hi Zenari,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the site so that I can take a closer look at what is happening here?

I've enabled the private fields for your next response. Also please send me the link to the post that you are having issues with.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Zenari,

We were having some troubles with our forums yesterday but all should be fine now.

I've enabled the private fields once more for you to provide me with the login details.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Zenari,

Thank you for the information.

Regarding the featured image not displaying, this would need to be debugged by the elementor team mainly because when I added the toolset [wpv-post-featured-image] shortcode to the template the featured image shows up.
Have a look below.

The image can be seen below the comments section.
So the Elementor team would need to have a look at this one for you, given that their plugin is being used to display the featured image.

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks for the support.
But I notice this now: on the backoffice there is the gallery with the image link (screen "1") with this link "hidden link" but when I wen in the WordPress gallery, the link on the image has the "-scaled" in the end of the link (screen "2").

So, in the backoffice there is the link "hidden link" on the image but if I went in the Media Libray, there is this link associated to the same image "hidden link".

Is this a problem with the scaled image?

Hi Zenari,

I'm ot sure what is happening regarding this image, however both URLs work.

As you can see from the above when there is no interaction from Toolset the site still has 2 URLs.

In the media library I see where wordpress is saying that the image filename is 20210306_173235-scaled.jpg

Perhaps you can re-upload this image, however as long as both URL's point to the image then there shouldn't be any issues at all.

Thanks,
Shane

The problem, however, is that there is no original link in the WordPress library.

We have noticed this problem when uploading an image to the Toolset form and the uploaded image exceeds certain dimensions in height and width.

Toolset probably scales the image and this creates the problem.

Can you make sure that the image is not scaled?

Hi Zenari,

Toolset doesn't scale the images. The images are uploaded as is from their source.

Scaled images are only applies when you are displaying the image with our Toolset shortcode or the Image block and apply the image scaling.

Can you send me a link to the form on the frontend so that I can test it with a sample image to see if the same issue occurs for me ?

Perhaps this will help us get to the bottom of the issue if we're able to go through the entire process.

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks so much.

This is the link of the form (you have to login to see it): hidden link

Try uploading an image that is at least 3000x2000 pixels in size, so let's see what happens.

Hello,

This actually works perfectly fine.

As you can see the image shows up as well as it doesn't get the -scaled appended to the end of the filename, not sure what is happening here but from just going through the steps of the form its not replicable.

Thanks,
Shane

The images, however, must be placed in this section "Carica qui le immagini da visualizzare nell'annuncio" (as in the attached image).

Going to the back office, in the posts you created, I don't see any images in the gallery section "Immagini annuncio (galleria)".

If now you see the image inserted in the post it is because, if there is no image in the gallery, the page automatically takes the "featured image".

#2001883

In the post of this link "hidden link" I saw that you have inserted the image below, but this takes the "featured image" and not the image that is inserted in the back office of the gallery.

The image in the galley has this link "hidden link" but in the WordPress media library I found it with this link "hidden link".

I am writing this because it could be that the check you did, inserting the image below the post, was not going to check and verify my problem
