Problem with Toolset Form with audio files

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi there.

I have problem in toolset form with audio fields. If the audio fields are empty, it produces error (attached) even though the fields are not required fields. Because of this one cannot save the form (if no audio file).

Hi,

It seems that our chat was disconnected, so I've moved it to a support ticket.

During some quick tests on my website with an audio type field used in forms to add and edit posts, I couldn't reproduce this.

Can you please share temporary admin login details, along with the link to the page where this form can be seen?

This will help in reproducing this on a test website, for further investigation.

Note: Your next reply will be private and please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

Thank you for sharing the admin access.

While I can see the issue with the audio type custom field on your website, I'm still not able to reproduce this on my website with a similar field and form settings.

This suggests that something specific to your website is involved. Do I have your permission to download a duplicator package from this website, to investigate it on my server?

Thank you for waiting as this investigation took longer than I initially expected.

Although I couldn't narrow down the conflict to any specific plugin, I was able to fix it using the following steps on your website's clone:

1. I deactivated the WP Rocket plugin and updated all Toolset plugins to the latest versions.

2. Next, I updated all other plugins to their latest version too.
(there were about 11 of them)

3. After that I activated the WP Rocket plugin again and cleared its cache and the form at the single 'ESIMERKKI' post ( /muusikko/esimerkki/ ), without any error for the empty 'audio' type fields.

Please follow these steps and on your website too and let me know how it goes.

Hi Waqar - I didn't realize the Toolset plugins didn't show available updates automatically. My issue is resolved now. Thank you very much!
