[Resolved] Post Types not displaying on Front End with Jevelin Theme

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user's posts is not displaying on the frontend. They were getting the error Fatal error: Call to a member function get_gallery_attachment_ids()

Solution:

Unfortunately this was actually caused by the theme and a full reinstallation of the theme was required.

In a case like this I would recommend that you enable the wordpress debugging in order to see what error is being displayed on the page.

Hello,
I would like to ask you for a help.
I am developing a new website from which I am using the Toolset Post Types.
Installed the plugin, set Custom Post Type ( Products ) and Layout for it.

Everything is set properly but somehow the custom fields aren’t showing in the front-end.
I changed the Theme with a default WordPress theme and the custom fields showed up in the page. I was using Toolset with Jevelin for another website and is working without any issues but here I am not sure what is the cause of the issue.
Please can you have a look and tell me if there is a way to fix this.

Here is an URL with the custom post type where the fields should be displayed but they aren’t.

I also noticed something else – in the titlebar is shown – “Blog Post” but before that it was – Medical Insurance ( as it should be ) which is strange. This happened after I reinstalled the theme.

I know that Toolset is compatible with Jevelin since was using the Plugin with the theme before but now I am not sure what is going on.
I appreciate your help. Thank you.

Kind Regards!

Hi Terry,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.
Since you mentioned that this was working before, It could be caused by a plugin conflict.

What I would recommend that you do is to temporarily disable all the non-toolset plugins and check again to see if the issue still there.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Terry,

Just to confirm before I make any changes to the site.

This is a test site correct? And should I need to create a copy of it to test here locally do I have your permissions to ?

Please let me know as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Terry,

There could be an error being generated on the page.

Could you provide the ftp Access so that I can enable the wordpress debugging ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Terry,

So the issue here is being generated by your theme.
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_gallery_attachment_ids() on string in /home/protectone/public_html/wp-content/themes/jevelin/inc/helpers.php on line 1008

What I recommend that you do is to contact your theme author and have them take a look at this for you, there isn't anything we can do here since the issue is coming from the theme.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello Shane,
I completely reinstalled the theme on a new directory and duplicated the website there.
Installed Toolset plugin and everything worked for me.
Not sure what has caused the issue but now works fine!
Thanks for the support!

Best Regards!
