I am trying to: Create custom post type using slug "clean-tech-blog." However, the actual permalink changes to "clean-tech-website." You can see in the WP admin dashboard screenshot URL that the slug is indeed "clean-tech-blog" but the actual permalinks to the posts use "clean-tech-website."
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link (when it should be hidden link)
I see what you are saying. The slug to the CPT should actually change as well.
Could you try resetting your permalinks by going to Settings -> Permalink and changing the structure, hit save and then change it back to post name and hit save once more?
I see you are using older versions of our toolset plugins. Could you update the Types plugin to the latest versions as this could've been a bug in those versions.
I've updated Types to v3.3 and the issue still persists. I've updated permalinks and changed the post slug from "clean-tech-blog" to "clean-tech-posts" and back to "clean-tech-blog" but the post URLs are still showing as "clean-tech-website."
Unfortunately I cannot give you access to our WordPress site since it is a closed login system for a university. Is there anything else I can do to help?
Since from the screenshot you are working with only a sample post in that CPT. Not sure if more posts were added as yet but I would recommend that you delete this cpt and then re-create it with the new slug.
This is a custom environment, but I doubt we have anything that would change the post slug. Can you confirm on your end that Toolset doesn't change "blog" to "website"?
I can confirm that this does not happen on our end here.
From your initial screenshot the post type on the backend has the correct slug "clean-tech-blog" so something is interfering with the normal operation of the plugin.
