Tell us what you are trying to do?
I can no longer edit the 'expiration' for my custom post type in the post editor. The Post Expiration metabox doesn't fully display and when I inspect it I can see that div with id of "js-cred-post-expiration-panel" has an input field with an id and name of "cred-post-expiration-nonce". The 'nonce' in there leads me to believe that something is unable to get the expiration date for my custom posts.

This used to display properly but perhaps it has been broken by an update to the plugin or to my theme??

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I couldn't find anything relevant. I have looked through "Setting up Automatic Post Expiration in WordPress"
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/setting-up-automatic-post-expiration/#post-expiration-settings-in-the-wordpress-post-editor

Is there a similar example that we can see?
You can't see this on the front end. I can't grant you access once I get a response to this ticket.

What is the link to your site?
hidden link
I also have a staging site set up that this can be seen on as well.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Do you mean that you want to update the post expiration date for your post from the backend admin? if yes:

Can you please tell me for what post type and share problem URL as well as admin access details.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

When I try to edit any post for post type "Therapist":
- hidden link

I see the Yoast SEO section is not working as expected as you can see with the above edit post link.

When I try to deactivate the "Yoast SEO" plugin - when I click on Deactivate link to deactivate it - it shows me critical error and I'm not able to deactivate this plugin.
- hidden link

Can you please try to deactivate all the plugins and check if you able to see the post expiration working as exacted.

Jim

I've moved the Yoast SEO folder out of the /plugins folder into a /plugins-bak folder.

I've done this previously and have previously deactivated all plugins as well.

This was supposed to be private.

After I submitted, it looked very public so I've removed what I put in the message.

Please start another private message.

I was able to resolve this issue.

It turns out that Access Control wasn't set to 'Managed by Access' for my custom post type anymore. I don't know what this ended up deselected. I believe it should be set to 'Managed by Access' by default, correct?

Glad to know that you found the solution. If the post type set as managed by access before, it should be there. If you know at what coarse of action its deselected we can investigate.

Jim

I don't know how it became deselected but selecting it seems to have fixed the situation.

Thanks for your time.
