Hi, it really depends on the type of loop you want to implement and the markup required for each row style. It appears there is little BB integration when it comes to images, e.g. photo module, doesn't offer toolset fields to select a custom image. Is that right, or am I missing something. I checked today and I have the latest versions of all plugins
I've just run into further issues where inserting a featured image field with a custom size (as a shortcode) doesn't appear to work, but selecting a pre-defined size seems to be OK.
