Is there any way I can populate a custom taxonomy with posts of a custom post type? So the each custom post type becomes a category.

Is it that you want each post that is created to get assigned to a category by default ? I'm not exactly sure what you want to achieve.

Or is it that you want to make each custom post that was created to be a taxonomy ?

Hi Ben,

The custom post section to taxonomy wouldn't be possible.

Because the custom posts and taxonomies are stored as 2 separate entities in wordpress.

Is there any way to assign each taxonomy something like a title page.

For example if I had a custom taxonomy of Fruit and individual child taxonomies of Apple, Pear, Banana. Could I assign (or link in any way) these 3 taxonomies with CPTs called Apple, Pear and Banana?

Hi Ben,

Yes you can actually do this but it will need to be a manual connection.

So when you create the Pear CPT you will manually link it to the Pear Taxonomy.
