I am trying to register the wp-types plugin using my site Key, but whenever I enter the key the page just refreshes and shows the same blue button asking me to register the plugin. I have double checked and my site is listed correctly under your Site page.

I had this same problem trying to register the trail key I had, now I have a fully purchase key, this should really work.

Register Toolset with key.png
Register Toolset.png
How it looks after.png

This works fine on my end.

Please follow my ScreenShots for the how to.

If this is not working on your end, please:

1. remove all registrations on your toolset account (delete them)

2. Reinstall Toolset manually

❌ Backup your website and database ❌
• Deactivate/Delete the "Installer" plugin (if you have it)
• Deactivate all Toolset plugins
• Login via FTP to your wp-content/plugins folder
• Delete all Toolset Plugins folders
• Go to https://toolset.com/account/downloads/ and download the latest stable Types Plugin, then extract it.
• Upload the plugin via FTP to the wp-content/plugins folder.
⌥ alternatively you could upload the .zip file using Dashboard > Plugins > New > Upload
• Register the Plugin for your site
(see screeenshots)
• Download all other needed Plugins
• Activate them in Dashboard > Plugins
This should not generate any problems.

3. In case this still does not work please let me know.

I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site
- preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible -
in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

This is difficult.

We need access to debug this.
I am waiting for another user with the same conditions, to provide them.

Until I do not have full Access to such a system we can not debug it.

This is because those are edge cases, not replicable locally.

For now, not being able to register won't affect the functionality of your site or the access to this support forum.
The only thing, you will not be able to update with the Update Screen, but will need to upload updated Plugin Folders to your FTP directly.

I apologise that until we do not have access to a system, our DEV team can not debug the issue properly.

Please stand by, in case the other User provides the access details.

Our System Admin checked your email and all seems fine.

Without Access to the WordPress Admin, we are not able to help.

Is there no chance at all that you can grant us access?

Also there is no way for me to backup my database and files, I do not have access to the server.

If you delete and re-upload the Plugin FTP Files, no content or settings will be lost as those files only hold functionality (of the Plugin)
All content, Views, settigns etc are stored in the DataBase.

Nonetheless I MUST reccomend a Backup before you proceed.

It is almost impossible to develop a website if you can not backup data and have access to FTP and Database.
Backups are vital, you never know if a Update is intrucing a specific issue.
What would you do, if you update ANY software (including WordPress) and things brake, if you do not have a backup?
You would need to restart building the Site or wait for a fix.
With a Backup you coudl just revert.

2. The Plugin being expired, will not affect it's functionality.
The only thing affected is that you are not receiving Updates from within the WordPress Admin, and if you do not update, of course eventual new features, and BUG Fixes, will not be on your System as long you do not update.

3. I need access to that Server Environment to debug this.
Or better, our Systems Admin needs that, as I could not debug it anyway, it goes above my knowledge.

We can not proceed, without this.
