Can not upload image in CRED form, it displays this error message:

I am trying to: upload an image via cred: [cred_field field='portretfoto-trainer' post='trainer' value='' urlparam='' output='bootstrap']

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: The page is hidden for guests: hidden link and it's behind a 'Under construction'

I expected to see: the upload of the image take place

Instead, I got: only the chosen name of the image: image.jpg and on 'Send' the error: Please enter a valid URL address pointing to the image file.

Formerly it worked OK ...?!
Tomorrow the site must go online!!

Kindly,
CEM

Hi Charlotte,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. Are you using custom image field or URL field?

This was known issue and fixed in Types 2.2.5.

We have another client who had the similar issue and was also able to solve it (summary at top):

Sorry, my situation is not the same as described by you.
I read all the posts about this problem being resolved with Types 2.2.5.
Till yesterday the image-upload was working fine. Now in all the forms I have the same issue and altough my site is behind 'Under construction' I have no test-domain or anything.

Maybe I can give you a login?

greetings,
Charlotte

Hello Charlotte,

1. Please also try to check it by deactivating all third-party plugins (except Toolset) and switching back to the Default Theme (e.g. Twenty Sixteen theme) to see for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

2. Please Enable WordPress debugging in your site and look for any errors on the Toolset plugins dashbaord page or error log file (any screenshot incase of errors will help us as well): https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/debugging-toolset/

3. Please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your staging site.

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

✙ Please add the Links to the [CRED Form] Edit Screen and [Page] Edit Screen where you have inserted this Form.

Thank you

Thank you. First thing I do is the switch to the theme 'Twenty Seventeen' and it's working again!! Also the links 'Add New'. Pffff, I used OceanWP Childtheme and this theme is recommended by you.

Well, now I can go forward.
Thanks again, have a nice day.

Hi Noman,
I still need help with this issue. It is not resolved. I use OceanWP and at first everything was working fine.

But yet functions like 'Add image' and 'Add Place' in the CRED-form are not working. I tried everything and it seemed to work, but that was only with another Theme. And I do not want another Theme.
I tried everything: disabled all Plugins, no. Tried different user-roles, no. Tried different Themes: the ones that work OK: Twenty Seventeen, Astra, Nirvana. Themes that do not work: OceanWP, OcenaWP child, Generate Press.
I upload a screenshot with text on it to make clear what is not working. It's about the page: hidden link

May I still make a WP-admin account for you, so you can look?

Kind regards,
Charlotte
