[Resolved] PHP 8.x compatibility

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello

I've moved a project to a new server and tried to upgrade to newes PHP. Nor 8.5, nor 8.2, nor 8.1 worked with Toolset plugin. Could you please advise if Toolset Views, Types and other are compatible with 8.x?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

As you can see with our official server requirements Doc:

And also as you can see with the following blog post published last year:

Improved compatibility with PHP 8.2 and 8.3 for better performance on modern servers.

So Toolset is already compatible with PHP 8.1.x or PHP 8.2.x.

I'm not sure what exactly the issue is but if you can share more details what exactly the issue is then I can review it.

Thanks, Minesh. While searching for the solution, I found a custom function in the theme, which was not compatible with PHP 8.x. So it is not directly related to toolset. Thank you!
