permalink for the custom post

This support ticket is created 6 years, 1 month ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

The permalink setting for general posts is...

/%category%/%post_id%/

However the custom post made by Toolset Type is post name.
For example ...

In this case,　”joianews-7849” is not the post id.
Original post name is "第29回日本緑内障学会併設器械展示報告" and this Japanese post name is changed to "joianews-7849" manually.

Please advice me how to fix the permalink in the custom post.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - Toolset does not provide URL rewrite option but the easiest way for you to customize your post type permalik using the plugin: "permalinks-customizer"

I tested it and it works.
