pagination.png

Hello,

I am using pagination to display a view and the display of the paginated page numbers overflows beyond the layout of the body content, extending into the sidebar layout (see "overflow" section in the screenshot)

I was expecting something like "1 2 3 ... 40 41" instead of all the numbers lining up from 1 to 41.

Is there a way to fix that?

Thanks

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

To better assist you with this issue, I'll need to check the page when this issue appear, which will help me understand how the view is built(With blocks or legacy editor).
If I can't fix it and I confirm it is happening on any clean installation, I'll escalate it to our 2nd Tier for further analysis.

Please share a URL where I can see the issue, and if possible access to your website to check how the slider is built. Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **

Hi Jamal,

Thanks for reaching out. Actually I have found a workaround: I was not aware that I could adjust the settings for pagination. That's what I have just done, replacing the lining up of page numbers by next/previous links. Then there is no more issue.

If you want to replicate the situation:
1) use the free astra theme (light weight toolset friendly theme)
2) import many items so that pagination may expand to 40 pages (it depends on how many items you want to display on a page -> 80 posts with 2 posts per page will make the trick)
3) use the block editor
4) create a simple view (I just filtered through a category but that's not required) in a Page where there is a right sidebar

Et voilà 🙂

Thanks for your assistance,
