Hello,
I need help with inserting other plugin custom field as a search filter in toolset.

The field is numeric (it's input field of price), but it's missing from my options. However, thanks to support Minesh, it was added to post form as a generic field. Link to the ticket - https://toolset.com/forums/topic/include-custom-fields-into-toolset-forms-from-other-plugin/

The issue is search filter, it's showing perfectly in the loop.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Normally - you can add custom search frontend filters to your view for the custom fields, taxonomies belongs to post type you set your view to query.

First of all, I need to know is the custom field you want to filter with is belongs to post type you set your view to display posts?

Can you please share problem URL where you added the view and send me admin access details.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

The workaround to add the custom field price filter is to add a shortcode for the filter:

I've added the following filter shortcode to your view:
- hidden link

[wpv-control-postmeta field="price" type="select" default_label="Please Select" url_param="wpv-price"]

Can you please confirm it works as expected.
