We have installed Toolset to create a member directory and have been using it for more than a year without problems.
However since a few weeks, one member of the directory, although is published correctly within WordPress (post status published) as all the other members, it does not appear in the view .
You can enter here hidden link and try to find Eric Edouard. You will have no results. However, you can find that is published correctly here: hidden link
I can give you access to the administration so you can see the problem with more accuracy.
Another curious effect is that when you click "save" again, the member would appear again, but after a few days or hours it disappears.
Another fact is that before you click save, you can see that the map has not coordinates hidden link, and that after clicking save, miraculously they appear.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Yes - Can you please pass me the access details so I can check whats going wrong with that Eric post and why it is not displaying with search result.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
The issue was the post that was not showing:
=> hidden link
The address field is not set as correct address as google do not find that address, for now, I set the address field "DIRECCION_COMPLETA" value as Martinique as you can see with the above post link.
Now I can see that post with the search result. Please make sure that you set the address field "DIRECCION_COMPLETA" value that is found by the google.
I checked all the things but as you have added the distance search filter - the distance search filter hooks into the toolset_maps_address_cache table that holds the valid address and if there is no valid address found that post is neglected.
I even checked by adding the view's filter hooks but I do not able to find any workaround as when you add distance filter it will automagically hook the toolset_maps_address_cache table to the query.
thank you for all your effort in this issue. I think we are getting close to a solution.
As you can see in the view that we are using (hidden link) we have not set a distance filter in the page.
Why is then it causing this issue? We want to remove the distance search filter, as we need this problem to be solved. Where do we have to deactivate it?
If you click on the button "Screen Options" available at top right side on edit view page, you will find a check box "Query Filter" checkmark that and you will see the "Query Filter" section as you can see with the following screenshot where with this "Query Filter" section you will see the distance search filter is added.
