[Resolved] No image preview in image library after update types
This support ticket is created 4 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.
This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.
Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.
No supporters are available to work today on Toolset forum. Feel free to create tickets and we will handle it as soon as we are online. Thank you for your understanding.
At this point I would like for you to check your server to ensure that the minimum requirements are met especially the required module. https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/
I know that your server is running version 7 of php but I cant tell if the required modules are enabled. I want to ensure that we are covering all the grounds since i'm unable to copy your site.
It seems the root cause of the issue is not related to Types.
I tried uploading the images again with Types deactivated and the same issue started to occur. Right now its complaining that its failed to move the image to the images directory.
Try on your side to see the error.
Given that the issue is still there with Types disabled then It would be out of our hands to debug. I would recommend your hosting provider have a look to see if the file permissions are correct for wordpress.
The problem is still the same when I deactivated Types the images work, when I activated Types they don't work.
See the media library, last one with Types on, second without Types on
I activated the types en View plugin on latraco.eu and no problem, images are loading fine.
Is there a problem with the ssl certificate?
Why wasn't this a problem before the update?
How can this be ssl certificate problem be checked or, even better, solved?
Mainly your SSL isn't configured using a wildcard. What this means is that your certificate is only valid for the main domain of the site, latraco.eu .
Any sub domains wouldn't get verified as valid. What you need to do is to configure it with a wildcard like "*.latraco.eu" where this would cover your sub domains.
You may need to contact the support team for the Really Simple SSL plugin in order to get advise on how to configure this.
Thanks,
Shane
Yes but this is only for this sub domain, because it's only for testing.
The original domain is hidden link (live webshop) and has no problems with SSl, so this can't be the problem.
But I don't get the problem on the main domain hidden link (not in use at this moment), even when I activate the view and types plugin.
The server where this account is on is down now for almost a week and very hard to get back up.
This problem I need to solve first then I come back to this problem
