[Resolved] New Taxonomy doesn’t appear to be translatable

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user is unable to translate his taxonomies.

Solution:

If you're using WPML then it could be that your taxonomy is not set to translate. What you need to do is to do is to follow the instructions in the link below .

I've added a new Taxonomy term "Make/Model" for vehicle listings.

"Locations" taxonomy is translatable with WPML.
"Listing Category" taxonomy is translatable with WPML
But my "Make/Model" taxonomy doesn't appear to have any translation options?

Am I missing something?

Hi Paul,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

If you have our WPML Translation Management plugin installed then it might be that "Make/Model" has not been set to translate.

Could you go into the translation management settings and let me know if this is set to translate.

Thanks,
Shane

Yes. You are right.

WPML Translation Management.
Scroll to "Taxonomies Translation"
Choose the radio button on far left which corresponds to the Taxonomy.

Works now.
