[Resolved] multiselect field

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
How to create multi select field (chosen) in the search form would behave like this:
http://neptune.pinsupreme.com/search-by-ingredients/

Solution:
That is using a different library called Chosen: https://harvesthq.github.io/chosen/

We don't have this type of field or style in Toolset. I have submitted this as a feature request to our team for further consideration.

Dear Ido,

There isn't same feature as the URL you mentioned above, but Views search form does support multi-select field, see our document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views-shortcodes/#wpv-control-post-taxonomy
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views-shortcodes/#wpv-control-postmeta
type (opt):
'checkbox' | 'checkboxes' | 'date' | 'datepicker' | 'radios' | 'select' | 'textfield' | 'multi-select'
Control type to be displayed on your Custom search form. Defaults to the appropriate control type for the field type.

So you can customize it to what you want with some other custom JS + CSS codes, but according to our support policy, it is out the range of Toolset support:
https://toolset.com/toolset-support-policy/

You can also check out our certified partners for it:
