I am planning to have multiple instances of the same site which will use the toolset.
Like Development, Staging, and Production.
Is it possible to use the same toolset key in all of my instances?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Each Toolset site key can only be used on a single WordPress website, whose address was used to generate it.

For cases, where you need to maintain multiple environments, we recommend activating the site key on the production website, so the automatic plugin updates feature can be used on it. And for the other environments, you can install and update the Toolset plugins manually, by downloading them from the Toolset downloads page.
( ref: https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#registering-toolset-in-a-development-environment )

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Waqar,
I already used the key on my staging instance.
How can I change this to production IP?

Thanks

Thanks for writing back.

You can follow these steps:

1. Please go to the Toolset's site key management page ( https://toolset.com/account/sites/ ) and delete the existing site key.

2. Next, you'll generate a new one, making sure to use the same address that is set in the production website's "Site Address" field.
( at WP Admin -> Settings -> General )

After that, you'll be able to activate the new key on your production website.
