Tell us what you are trying to do?

Taken over a website, and trying to modify it. It uses Elementor Pro and Toolset views (not blocks), and I'm new to Toolset.

I have a working search page - its at
hidden link.

I'm happy with the layout and search options, but I want to limit the search to only one set of categories (in this case types=group).

The page uses the 'Tour Search' view at
hidden link

When I look at that view
Content Selection is Post types = Walking Tours
Search order is date/time of tour ascending (which I'd like to change to random if this possible)
in the search and pagination section, see there is an entry for New Filter - but this only seems to add a filter by types to the search page. I don't want this option to be visible to the public.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I've not found any document that explains how the customer search works with views.

What is the link to your site?
hidden link

For the previous ticket I entered details of how to access the site, and this is still available.

Regards

David Brown

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

On your edit view page:
- hidden link

With the "Screen Options" tab available at top right corner I've activated the "Query Filter" section, once you activate that, you will see a "Query Filter" section just after "Ordering" section. Where I've added the taxonomy filter by clicking on the "Add a Filter" button:

Taxonomy Filter:
- Types in one of these: Group

More info:

Can you please confirm it works as expected now 🙂
