[Resolved] Missing Author Select for CPT

Hi,

I am using WPML & Toolset to manage users for different languages. After an update I am not able to choose any authors for a post. In the quick edit I can choose only admins.

We do have for each language one editor and the admin assigns them the posts, cpts, and pages which they can edit. This is currently not possible

Is this a known issue?

I installed now a "Role Manager Plugin" and I need to add now the capability to the editor to publish/edit/delete own posts - this was always managed by Toolset / Access - is this new now?

Yes, it is a known issue: https://toolset.com/errata/cannot-set-post-author-when-post-type-managed-by-access/

It should be fixed fairly soon in the next round of plugin updates.

The problem is still there and we need to find another workaround - like role editor
