We have used the toolset views plugin with WPBakery pretty extensively across our multisite network. Is there a migration path to toolset blocks or do we have to rebuild our views and content templates?

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

We, currently, do not have a migration guide from the legacy views to the new blocks' editing experience. We are still supporting legacy views. And, as you may know, you can build views, content templates, and archive templates with both editing experience. You will just need to activate both of them in Toolset->Settings->General->Editing Experience.
And, currently, the Blocks' editing experience does not offer all the features that the legacy views provide. We are working on that and we'll get all the features available in blocks in the future.

So, my suggestion would be to activate both editors and to gradually build new views, content templates, or archive templates with the block editor. Once you get what you want, remove the old elements(created with the legacy editor) and use these new ones.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks for the suggestion - do you have any tutorials on building new views and searches with the blocks editor? The video that came with the plugin was really just a sales tutorial and does not show how to get started.

We are currently rebuilding all our documentation to showcase how to use the new block experience. Check all our tutorials and videos here https://toolset.com/documentation/

We also provide a search for documentation lessons. Check this filtered results on how to build custom searches https://toolset.com/course-lesson/?wpv-related-lesson=custom-search&wpv_view_count=1599013
