Toolset is very good at producing dynamic pages with granular control on the data - but I cannot find any way of setting the meta data for title, description and keywords for SEO.

I would have though it would be reasonable to define such parameters with the content template.

I have read some old tech support posts in the archives that suggest that this was not possible but those posts were a couple of years old - and I wonder if in 2020, there has been any developments in this area.

I am using the latest version of Toolset, WordPress and Divi Builder.

Can you tell me the best way to set these three meta data please?

Hi Saeed,

Thank you for getting in touch.

In order to set the Meta Data for SEO you will need to use a SEO plugin like Yoast to SEO the website. Our Toolset plugins are not able to provide SEO functionalities but the Yoast plugin should allow you to set the Meta Data for your posts/pages on a page per page bases.

Please let me know if this helps.

Hi Shane

Thanks for the reply.

Can I use the custom fields that I defined for the custom post type in the meta data?

Hi Saeed,

Based on this documentation here

It would appear that it is possible to have the custom fields as a part of the meta data.

Thanks,
Shane
