I am trying to:
Make a taxonomy not accessible to a custom user role. I have Types and Access installed. I have checked "Manage by access" in Access for the taxonomy, and unchecked all of the permissions for the custom role. When logged in as a user with the custom role, I can confirm that the taxonomy's manage page is not in the admin nav.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
This has not been deployed to a public web server yet.

I expected to see:
Taxonomy meta box removed from editor, and column removed from "all items" list view, to users with the custom role.

Instead, I got:
Taxonomy meta box was visible but disabled. List view column was visible.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - I need to check the permissions given to your custom role.

Could you please create a staging site and share access details with me.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
