Maps Plugin - Toolset

This support ticket is created 5 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to use the Maps plugin on my development site.

I have followed the documentation and support posts on the Google API Set up.

I have created 2 API Keys and enabled the three Maps services

maps Embed
Maps Javascript
Maps Static

I have not secured my key as I don't know how to, also I want it to work when I replace my
live site with the staging site.

I have ensured the project is set up in payments.

When I click the test API button, I get
REQUEST_DENIED - This API project is not authorized to use this API.

My site is hidden link

Hello,

According to the message you mentioned above:

REQUEST_DENIED - This API project is not authorized to use this API.

There should be a problem in your Google map API key.

I suggest you try this:
1) Generate a new Google map API key for your staging site(hidden link)
2) Put the new Google map API key in your staging site, and test again
