I am trying to: zoom the map to UK when there are no search results

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: From homepage, please search "Slough" under "Find a Therapist".
hidden link

I expected to see: the map center on UK

Instead, I got: the map centering on Africa

Is there a way to set a default location when there are no results?

Hi Tim,

I suspect that this is due to your API key.

Could you regenerate you API key for Google Maps and let me know if the issue still remains ?

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks, I will try.
The interface has changed since I last generated an API key and there are a lot more options. Which is the right type of API key to enable? (the one I've tried so far results in 'request denied' when entered into WordPress).
Thanks
Tim

Actually I think I've figured out the APIs. It's now not loading properly until we've entered billing details
BUT
you can still see the original problem in place (i.e. I don't think that was related to API key).
Thanks
Tim

Would you mind allowing me to have access tot he site so that I can try an API key that I have ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Tim,

It seems that this user isn't admin.

Could you update the user to admin so that I can have access to the toolset settings?

Thanks,
Shane

Of course - sorry - I knew I forgot something! It's ready for you now.

Hi Tim,

It seems that you've exceeded your free quota with Google as there was this error in the console.

You have exceeded your request quota for this API. See hidden link

I think an upgrade to the account is needed.

Thanks,
Shane

I'm not convinced it's that - because the rest of the map functionality works a-ok, it just says "for development" purposes.
I'm waiting on the client to enter their billing info into the account.
Until then (and we're able to say for sure), is there not a way to instruct the map to center on a specific place on initial load and/or on 0 results?

Hi Tim,

There is actually a setting for this when inserting the Map. See Screenshot.

This should be able to allow you to center the map on a fixed location.

Thanks,
Shane
