I'm having two issues with a map at hidden link (and other Projects posts).

Please see details in the attached image.

My map correctly displays markers for a full list of posts, and I can correctly filter that view of posts, but all map markers disappear when I apply any filter, and can then only be recovered with a full page reload. I'm not seeing any JS errors thrown in the console with the filtering error.

I've also had no luch getting hover text for markers. No problem with pop-up text tho...

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I've followed documentation for displaying and filtering lists of posts in maps, but this is my first time implementing. Please check confirm my setup in the attached composite of screenshots.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Besides Open Street Maps (thanks for integration!), I’ve tried Google Maps (witha valid API key) and get similar results. I can’t get hover text and.when applying.a filter all markers disappear and the map centers at what I suspect is 0, 0 coordinates, over Equatorial Guinea.

As an update, I tried de-activating all plugins, including Elementor. Problems persist.

Update on hover text issue:

I can, in fact, get hover text working for Google Maps. Lessons learned:

1) Hover text doesn't take HTML, whereas Pop-Ups can
2) Doesn't work over clusters (makes sense)

Still can't get it going in OpenStreetMap, though. Google AI suggests it's possible. Curious to know if it's working for other Toolset users.

Images showing details of map tile requests from OpenStreetMap, reposted from a private share with Minesh. AJAX-only mode fails while full-page-reload mode succeeds.

Plus a detailed view of the AJAX XHR requests for AJAX-only and full-page-reload requests. These look identical, and both successfuly generate map tile requests. It's the map request step where AJAX-only mode fails to return tiles from OSM.

By contrast, trying again with Google Maps, I see that AJAX-only map tile requests do, in fact, return map tiles. They're just the wrong tiles, over Africa, at 0, 0 coordinates, suggesting a default position for no location data.

First of all, with location section why you added conditional block zero equal to zero.

If that is not required, can you please remove the conditional block.

This was my way of "turning off" conditions that were not working for related posts (e.g., Locations), given the problem I had in this ticket:

I do need a conditional block here as not every project had locations associated with it.

I'm trying to recreate your recommended structure for conditional blocks now for Locations.

As described here on my conditional block thread, even when starting fresh, I'm unable to drag a view output into a conditional block.

Please remove unwanted conditional blocks and all other unwanted blocks - make your content template clear and then get back to me where exactly you want to show/hide based on what content.

Okay, I now have a conditional structure that works for Repeating Field Groups and Related Posts sections (including the Locations section discussed here). My workaround seems to keep Gutenberg happier, too.

Sadly, the map still behaves as described at the top of this thread -- losing all location data with an AJAX map-only update and not providing hover text in OSM (though my current settings for hover text work in Google Maps).

This is the case with the map inside or outside the conditional block. I'm happy to drag it outside for testing, if you like. (Unlike yesterday, I find it easy to drag and drop out of these conditional blocks, I believe due to simpler structure.)

Let me know when you can have a look and I'll run a backup, as needed.
